Your organisation

  • Has a charitable purpose
  • Has its own constitution or governing document
  • Has a bank account in the organisation’s name
  • May be a registered charity, unincorporated association, CIC, or industrial and provident society

Your proposal

  • Directly benefits young people under 25
  • Responds to a clear need or barrier
  • Explains the change your work will create
  • Has a realistic budget and plan

Usually outside scope

  • Applications from individuals
  • Work without a clear charitable benefit
  • Proposals unrelated to young people
  • Costs already incurred before a decision
